Boxing Day 2007 Fun Game
There was a good turn out on Boxing Day this year, which seems to have become a regular annual event.
On a crisp but bright morning a select SEND UNITED XI team turned out to play a strong but bleary eyed AW select eleven….
The Send team consisted of varying age groups and performed well over the first 45 minutes although going in at half time 1-0 down.
The second half saw the more youthful and athletic AW eleven gradually take hold scoring on four more occasions , despite giving away a penalty to make the final result 5-2.
